Jon flew down from Joburg to record with us - this time we opted for Sibebe Studios in Vredehoek, Cape Town, where Tara Fataar guided us through three pretty interesting days. The band put down tracks on the first two days, with all the vocals being added on the last day. As before, there're a lot of first takes and a couple of second and thirds. Rayelle Goodman came in on the last day to record some awesome violin on two of the tracks and we managed to convince Jane Breetzke (an old friend and occasional keyboard player for the band) to do some backing vocals on one track too.
