The Buckfever Underground was formed in 1998. Today it consists of five members: Righard Kapp (guitar magic), Stephen Timm (drums, electronics, keyboards), Jon Savage (keyboards, big tunes), Gilad Hockman (bass, ideas, The Plan) and Toast Coetzer (vocals, lyrics).
